Lady
Our family first fostered and then, adopted Lady, a Boxer mix, from Ho-Bo Boxer Rescue. For whatever reason, after she began settling in with us, Lady became SUPER dog aggressive, which was puzzling as she was NOT at all dog aggressive at the rescue kennel. We had been working on Lady's aggressiveness toward other dogs, at first, just in class with Sara. Things were clearly improving with Sara's guidance, but we still needed to be able to walk Lady and not live in fear of her attacking other dogs in our neighborhood and in parks. I am thrilled to say that Lady's first outdoor play date, at a park, with a wonderful dog named Jaxon was a success. Of course, Sara was there to guide and support her and us. Sara introduced Lady, our son Kyle, our daughter Lara and me to a dog named Jackson, and his owners. I know that we would never have been able to accomplish what was accomplished with Lady without Sara. All of us had become fearful that Lady would attack and injure another dog. We were stuck and did not know what to do. However, with Sara's guidance, patience and knowledge of dog psychology, Lady's first play date was an incredible success! Sara knew what Lady needed and what dog to pair Lady with, for her first play date. Sara had a strategy for the play date and she guided all of us to successfully execute that strategy. I just wanted to share the progress that Sara, as Lady's trainer, was able to make with Lady and let any owners of aggressive dogs know that with the knowledge, guidance, and support of the talented trainer that Sara is, that there is hope for you and your dog.
